Whenever I feel stressed or incapable of writing anything, I go to the backyard at my parents’ house, sit on my favorite spot and look at the horizon.
I prefer to sit there at the exact moment when the sun is setting down. The different shades of colors in the sky give me peace and empty my head of any upsetting thought I have been bothering myself with during the day.
Last year, I didn’t have a spot to do so in the apartment I rented. There was not any yard to place a chair or simply throw a towel to lay on.
Luckily, this year, despite the tiny side my new apartment has, I have the chance to go out to a balcony and gaze at the horizon, feel the breeze and get lost in my thoughts.
Thanks for that magical moment of nature.
